Welcome to Austin's Best Poultry - now NPIP!  Located just south of Austin Texas, our beautiful chickens enjoy prime conditions to grow and thrive. By focusing on rare and threatened breeds or colors we are able to offer the best quality chicks from excellent bloodlines.  

At our Buda location we only sell young chicks.  Please check with our partner, April, at H and H Poultry and Supplies 512-755-5056 for more chick availability as well as older chickens.

OUR CHICKEN BREEDS:

At our Buda location we breed Delawares exclusively.  Our Heritage Delaware Chicken are beautiful, hardy, docile, bold, occasionally mischievous, dual purpose (eggs and broilers) chickens with great personalities are listed as a threatened breed by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy http://albc-usa.org/cpl/delaware.html and keeping the breed alive is our pet project.  We are proud to participate in ensuring this wonderful breed bred to true show quality APA standards never disappears.  Delawares are excellent layers of large brown eggs.

At H and H Poultry in Burnet a wide variety of Marans are bred including Black, Black Copper, Copper Blue, Blue, and many more.  Please contact April at 512-755-5056 to learn about available Marans.  Marans lay dark chocolate colored eggs.
